Ultimate Angler Challenge fishing tournament.
Well our final event of the Ultimate Angler Challenge Series was a beautiful windy day and clear skies. Big Sandy Lake definitely has some great fishing for many species. We launched out of the launch at Pier 65.
The winners were Jeff Juntti and Ouitdee Carson with a four species bag including a limit of bonus crappies, a rock bass, 3 perch and a bluegill for 105 points. Earning them $1,000 and plaques for 4 hours of fishing for panfish. Second place went to Ed Forrestal and John Michalski with a limit of bluegills, 3 perch, a rock bass and a 14 inch crappie for 100 points. Third place went to Pat Day and Ross Korpela with 85 points.
Everyone had fun out fishing and caught fish.
Congratulations to everyone and especially Jeff Juntti and Ouitdee Carson for taking home the $1,000 first place prize, plus the plaques and title for Big Sandy Lake.
